For properties further away, the cost is $200. However, if you decide to purchase a mower and professional installation through us, this cost will be discounted from the invoice, making it essentially free.

Do you offer professional installation and is it free with purchase?

We do offer professional installation, and while it’s not required, it’s highly recommended to save you time and ensure you are set up for success. Professional installation includes setting up equipment, mapping all of the zones, and personalized training on the app to control the mower. Installation costs vary based on the size and complexity of the property, with most wireless installations averaging $400-600.

What’s the difference between wired and wireless mowers?

Wireless mowers use GPS technology, which is newer and allows for easier modification of work zones without the risk of boundary wire damage. Wired mowers require a physical boundary wire installation. We generally recommend wireless mowers to our customers for their convenience and flexibility.

Are robotic mowers set it and forget it?

Kind of. While robotic mowers save a significant amount of time and money, they may occasionally get stuck and require manual intervention. Professional installation minimizes these instances. If you plan to leave town, it’s advisable to have a neighbor available to assist if needed.

What about theft?

For concerns about theft, some mowers come with anti-theft alarms, and you’ll always know where your mower is with GPS and 4G connectivity.

How fast does a robot mower cut the grass?

Robotic mowers cut the grass slowly, taking hours to cut a typical lawn. However, the charging is done automatically, so no manual intervention is required.
